The ultimate chalet host cookery course is the original and leading chalet cookery course.

In the gorgeous setting of the French Alps we will teach you everything there is to know about successfully running a chalet. Competition for chalet jobs is fierce as more and more people are taking gap years. Our course is an absolute must if you want to get a job. Our course is now in its 11th year and is highly regarded by the leading tour operators as well as many independently run chalet operators.

Based in a fantastic location in La Rosiere in the heart of the French Alps, you will stay in our luxury chalet (with outdoor hot-tub!). Don’t forget you’ll be able to enjoy time off to sample local activities including white-water rafting and hiking (both weather permitting, white water rafting is no longer available after end September)

NB: Due to the nature of the course we are unable to take bookings from people with any type of food allergy or intolerance other than vegetarians and any vegetarians must understand they will be expected to cook meat.

For 2017 the price of the Course is £595

THE PRICE INCLUDES:

  • 6 and a 1/2 days teaching
  • Training materials including your own  Ultimate Chalet Host Cookery Course ´bible´ (the manual, a workable 6 day menu plan you can use straight away in the alps and recipe catalogue)
  • Help and advice finding work in the Alps
  • All ingredients and equipment
  • All food (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner), wine and tea/coffee
  • Luxury accommodation for 7 nights based on two sharing
  • Linen and towels
  • Airport transfers: a set time pick up (latest 5pm) and drop off to and from Geneva airport. Please refer to the Transfers page for advice on which flights to book.
  • You will also receive the Ultimate Chalet Host Cookery Course Certificate on completion of the course.

A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF £100 IS TAKEN TO SECURE YOUR PLACE WITH THE FINAL BALANCE PAYABLE 10 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE COURSE STARTING.
